Thumbelina combines my love of crochet and upcycling.
I use vintage and salvaged yarn so all my products are unique. There’s a story behind every ball of wool (not necessarily a very interesting one). But I do research labels and where possible, identify the age and rarity of the yarn. Crocheting with discontinued weaves and colours, sometimes from manufacturers and shops that no longer exist, is special - like working with treasure. Yarn lovers will get it.
All my products are at least 20% natural fibres (usually mohair or lambs wool). I also make shopping bags from recycled plastic packaging and Thumb Jumpers (see below).
Every item is hand made.
All prices include P+P in the UK only.
Care instructions: All items should be hand washed in cool water (max 30 degrees). Do not tug, pull or wring out water. Pat dry with a towel and air dry flat.

Thumb Jumpers are mini crocheted jumpers that fit on your thumb.
Use as decoration, in a dolls house, as a drawer or room freshener adding your favourite perfume, or put it on your thumb and draw a face.
This is the spring / summer collection. I’ll soon start on Christmas jumpers that make fantastic tree decorations. All Thumb Jumpers come with a mini hanger, gift box (flat) and tissue paper.
